We arrive at PAWS Animal Shelter at around 9:30am. We received order from a permanent staff which directs us to the cages that we were going to clean. This is where the fun part begins. We have to first shift the puppies and dogs to other cages outside from the area then only the work can be carried out. We repeated the process few times as the cages outside is not enough to put all the puppies and dogs.
Many things happen during our cleaning session, quite a mess there especially Kenny accidentally sprinkle water at Chee Jong hair. I should have take a picture of his spiky hair, too bad my phone not with me. While scrubbing the cages, most of us try not to talk and open our mouth so wide because none of us willing to have detergent in our mouth. Scrubbing and washing work take us few hours, most of the guys will have the cages clean and the girl have the interview with the staffs and vet to get more information bout the shelter.
After 2 hours break, we got back to the shelter to feed the puppies and dogs. It takes quite awhile though to get all the puppies and dog fully feed. Right after we finish feeding, we walk around the area to look for some other animal like cats, kittens, rabbits, monkey and snake. Not long raindrops keep falling and the rain becomes heavier. We manage to take groups photo before we leave the shelter at 4:10pm. We quickly then dismiss and rush to our vehicle to get back to nearby home to have our self clean then rush back to college.
It was quite tired to have all the thing done but I think is worth it because in that way we able to finish our project and we also doing good deed.
